 Are you ready for a VALLEY FIRST?  Well………energize your taste buds and prepare your palate.  Seven great “Executive Chefs” from “Seven Renowned Restaurants” will be at your service!

Check out this line-up: Trelio’s, Campagnia’s, Pangea, Cracked Pepper Bistro, GiGi’s Cucina, Seasoned To Taste, and Creative Food & Wine Consulting and Catering.  The “Magnificent 7” will be demonstrating their culinary expertise while you relax and enjoy the ambiance on the Wathen-Castanos Incorporated elegantly appointed model homes in the gorgeous Harlan Ranch development.

Those in attendance will pick up delicious recipes and entertaining tips from some of the valleys’ finest chefs.  You can leisurely enjoy seven continuous 30 minute cooking demonstrations that will begin at 11:00am and conclude at 3:30pm.  Each cooking exhibition will take place in a new and different model home.  Come and gather new recipes, learn tricks of the trade, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. You must be 21 years of age or older, and space is limited to the first 210 participants to register.  It should be a great day of cooking and looking!  Call 327-2812……….now!!

Theme Dinner Party Planning & Etiquette

Do you only dream of hosting a fabulous dinner party?

  • Wathen-Castanos, Inc. and Ms Joan, columnist for Clovis Independent will help make your dream a reality. Ms. Joan, Certified Etiquette Consultant, will provide theme dinner party tips~ from creating the theme, menu, planning protocol, to even setting your table. This event is sure to be entertaining, informative and most of all inspiring.

Manners for Young People (ages 10 yrs old & up)

 

Don’t overlook the need for your young person to learn life lessons in social etiquette.

  •  Wathen-Castanos, Inc. and Ms. Joan, Certified Etiquette Consultant and columnist for The Clovis Independent, will provide an exciting afternoon of manners and their meaning.

  • Your young person will learn how to approach and introduce themselves to others.  Helpful tips for poise, grace, self confidence and dinner table manners.

  • Check your young person in and enjoy touring over 30 model homes at Harlan Ranch.  Or take a relaxing stroll thru Harlan Ranch’s picturesque parks.

  • Space is limited to 24 participants:  (10 years old & up)

     Ms. Joan E. Wynn, certified etiquette consultant, is a Clovis resident.  She is a graduate of CSUF with many years experience as an educator of both children and adults. Ms. Joan is certified in both social etiquette and business protocol, and is a member of the Etiquette Institute of St. Louis, Missouri, where she received instruction and certification.

       Ms. Joan is a columnist for the Clovis Independent. She writes the ASK MS. JOAN column that appears in the Clovis Independent the last Friday of each month. She has appeared on Valley Life, Mid-day and evening news programs on channel 26; Central Valley Today Show on channel 24; and has been interviewed by the Fresno Bee for several etiquette articles.

       Ms. Wynn, owner of Essential Etiquette, is currently hostess of Victoria Rose Cottage and is the in-house etiquette instructor.  She offers courses for individuals and groups of all ages.
